To extend and to improve our theoretical studies of smart structures, i.e., soft docking of space structures, damping capacity of hybrid composite lamina embedded with shape memory alloy (SMA) wire, and optimal control of unstable motion of tethered satellite system on an orbit around the earth, we performed the following researches.1. In regard to the soft docking of the space truss-type variable geometry structure, we proposed an improved artificial potential method, in which an end effector takes a pathe along an assigned straight line to the contact point, having an final attitude and tracking an assigned velocity change of the effector, keeping an assigned attitude of the main structure.2. We examined the mechanical behaviors of SMA,especially the stress-strain-temperature relations and stress induced martensitic transformation. We estimated the damping capacity of SMA and analyzed the effect of the embedded SMA wire upon the damping capacity of hybrid composite lamina and the vibration problems of a sandwich plate with SMA skin and of SMA beams. We also investigated the constitutive relation of SMA and proposed a new theory in which we derived theoretically the pseudoelastic stress-strain relation of SMA introducing an interaction energy.3. We performed reconsideration of the nonlinear vibration of the tethered satellite and improved the optimal control of the length of the tethered satellite system.
为了扩展和完善我们对智能结构的理论研究,即空间结构的软对接、形状记忆合金(SMA)丝嵌入的混杂复合材料层合板的减振性能以及绳系卫星系统在绕地轨道上的不稳定运动的最优控制,我们开展了以下研究工作。针对空间桁架式变几何结构的软对接问题,提出了一种改进的人工势法,即末端执行器沿指定的直线到达接触点,具有最终姿态,跟踪执行器指定的速度变化,保持主结构的指定姿态。研究了形状记忆合金的力学行为,特别是应力-应变-温度关系和应力诱发马氏体相变。估算了形状记忆合金的减振能力,分析了形状记忆合金丝对混杂复合材料层合板减振性能的影响,以及形状记忆合金蒙皮夹层板和形状记忆合金梁的振动问题。研究了形状记忆合金的本构关系,提出了引入相互作用能的形状记忆合金的伪弹性应力应变关系。对系绳卫星的非线性振动进行了重新考虑,改进了系绳卫星系统长度的最优控制。
