The topics covered by the Priority Program remain relevant three years after its start, and its conceptual objectives stay unchanged: to assess possible security threats and vulnerabilities stemming from novel nano-electronics; and to develop innovative approaches for system security based on nano-electronics. This proposal summarizes the scientific output of the Priority Program and the specific measures on coordination, start-up funding, gender-equality and workshops as well as funds requested for coordination in the second funding period.
