项目摘要

世界のコメ生産を担うアジアのデルタ地帯では，気候変動などの理由により水供給が不安定化しており，節水的な稲作灌漑技術の開発と普及が喫緊の課題となっている。国際イネ研究所は，イネの活着期と開花期を除いて間断灌漑を実施することで用水量を低減させる灌漑技術Alternate Wetting and Drying（AWD）を開発し，その普及をアジア各国で進めてきたが，まだ十分な成果をみせていない。そのなかでベトナム・メコンデルタ北部に位置するアンジャン省は，AWD普及の数少ない成功事例とされる。本研究では，アンジャン省を対象地として，AWD普及を促進/制限する要因に関してGISを用いて分析をおこなった。アンジャン省内に位置する125の行政村（Xa）に関する統計資料（2010年・2012年・2014年・2015年）から得たAWDの普及率を目的変数とし，詳細な地図や衛星画像などから得られた行政村ごとの水路密度や道路密度，酸性土壌の分布状況，土地の高低，堤防の整備状況などを説明変数として，AWDの普及に影響を及ぼする要素に関して偏順位相関により分析した。普及初期の2010年は，省都の周辺に位置する行政村でAWD普及率が高くなる傾向が見られた。アンジャン省におけるAWD普及はまず省都周辺から始まったとされており，そういった歴史が普及率に影響を及ぼしたと考えられた。普及が進んだ2015年には水田標高と水路密度がAWDの普及率に影響する傾向が見られた。すなわち，低い場所の水田では水はけが悪く，逆に高い場所の水田では給水が不安定になるため，AWDの実施に支障をきたす可能性が示唆された。同様に水路密度も水供給と密接に関係にあるため，AWDの制限要因になっていると考えられた。AWDの普及には安定的な灌漑環境が必要であり，まずはAWDに適した地域を抽出して普及を進めることが重要であると考えられた。

The world's water supply is unstable due to the rapid development of water supply, and the development and popularization of water-saving irrigation technology are pressing issues. The International Research Institute for Biological Diversity has developed Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) technology to reduce water consumption during the life cycle and flowering period, and has made progress in various countries. The number of successful cases of AWD popularization is small. This study focuses on the analysis of key factors in the promotion/restriction of AWD popularity. 125 administrative villages (Xa) in the province (2010·2012·2014·2015) The penetration rate of AWD has been analyzed in terms of target number, detailed geographical location, satellite image, distribution of acidic soil, water channel density and road density in administrative villages, land level, embankment preparation status, explanation number, influence factors of AWD popularization and correlation. At the beginning of popularization, in 2010, the AWD penetration rate in administrative villages around the provincial capital tended to be high. The popularity of AWD in the province has been affected by the history of the province. In 2015, there was a tendency for the penetration rate of paddy field elevation and waterway density to be affected. Water supply in paddy field at low level is unstable, and AWD may be affected by water supply failure at high level. The same water supply density and close connection are important factors for AWD control. The popularity of AWD is necessary for a stable environment.
