In this study, we performed ground-based observations to obtain volumetric changes in Himalayan glaciers. We clarify features of sensitivity of glacier mass balance to climate change by an energy-mass balance model. We improve a method to obtain changes in glacier surface elevation from digital elevation models using GPS survey data.
