A study of the Sokkin(shogunal intimates) in the Edo period.

本文从江户幕府的人际关系和江户时代地位的变化两个角度来考察江户幕府中的幕府亲信。它聚焦于江户时代中期的前桥的汉书--酒井忠孝。他与幕府有影响力的Sokkin人柳泽吉也有婚姻关系。在许多情况下，他们相互依存，相互帮助。他们与其他大名(军阀)和桥本(旗手)有着千丝万缕的关系。通过对这些关系的分析，本研究论证了索克金人在江户时代的地位和作用。

This study examines the Sokkin (shogunal intimates) in the Edo Bakufu regime from two points of view : their human relations and the change of their position in the Edo period. It focuses on Sakai Tadataka, the Hanshu (load) of Maebashi in the middle of the Edo period. He had a matrimonial relation to Yoshiyasu Yanagisawa, an influential Sokkin of Shogun. They were mutually dependent helping each other in many cases. They had various complicated relationship with other Daimyo (military lords) and Hatamoto (bannermen). By analyzing these relationships, this study demonstrates the position and role of the Sokkin in the Edo period.
