2022年度は、(1)2回の国際学会での報告、(2)1本の論文の執筆、(3)先行研究の整理、(4) 6名の研究者に対するインタビューを行った。これらの研究活動の結果、次のような研究成果が得られた。(1) 学会報告の1つでは、本研究が検討している国際組織の設立文書の目的論的解釈について報告し、他の討論者から指摘を受け、同解釈が有する政治的影響（国際組織の法的責任を認定する場合に生じる副作用、または、国際組織の独立性への影響）への配慮を考慮に入れた、よりバランスの取れた議論を展開する視座を得ることができた。また別の学会報告では、信義誠実原則と協力義務の基礎となっている法的利益の検討について報告した。(2) 法的利益の検討に関する研究成果は、協力義務を主題とした論文にまとめ、2022年度中に脱稿した。協力義務の内容について法的利益の観点から分析した同論文には学術的新規性があり、実際に、同論文の概要を読んだ編集者から寄稿依頼があった。また、同論文の執筆に先立って2022年度に参加した「国際法における義務の概念」を主題とした国際会議では、国際義務に関する理論的検討に対する学術的関心が高いことが窺え、同論文もそのような関心に沿っているという点で研究として重要性がある。(3) 本研究課題に関連する先行研究の整理として、法における「目的」、「機能」、「価値」の概念を扱った文献に触れ、法的利益の検討を継続した。また、国際組織における法の実現過程を解明するために、実務家や国際組織職員による専門書や、国際組織におけるアカウンタビリティー制度の発展を扱った文献に当たった。(4) 関連する先行研究の著者やその分野の専門家である6名の海外の研究者にオンラインでインタビューを行った。著書の背景や著者の見解について、直接照会することができただけでなく、本研究に対する助言を多く得ることができた。
