父親の周産期うつ病は、母親と同等の頻度で存在し、父親の周産期うつ病もまた、父親自身と子どもの健康に影響を与える重要な疾患である。母親の周産期うつ病の予防は、スクリーニング体制が整備され、認知行動療法や行動活性化療法が有効であることが示されているが、父親へ周産期うつ病に関する研究はその影響は明白だが、確立された予防法や具体的な対策は存在しない。本研究では、事前研究の収集データを用いて、周産期の父親のどのような悩み（父親としての葛藤、出産・子育て・家族との関係性・職場・コロナ禍関連の悩みなど）が周産期のうつ症状に関連するのかを明らかにする。次に、父親がこれらの悩みを、認知行動療法を用いて解決を導けるようなインターネット認知行動療法を開発し、前後比較試験で実施可能性・安全性・普及と実装性を検討する。2022年度は、「日本におけるCOVID-19問題による社会・経済格差評価（JACSIS）研究」を用いて、コロナ禍における父親の周産期うつ症状と関連するリスク要因、父親の育児休業取得状況と父親の産後うつ症状の関連、コロナ禍の世帯所得と医療受診控えといったコロナ禍の男性の健康に関連する知見を論文、学会発表で公表した。また、コロナ禍にパートナーの妊娠・出産を経験した父親対するオンラインインタビュー調査を実施し、インタビュー調査で得られた知見を基に、父親の周産期うつ症状予防のためのインターネット認知行動療法プログラム（全7回）の作成を完了させた。2023年度に周産期の父親の悩みに関するインタビュー調査の分析、前後比較試験を実施する。本研究の知見を活かし、プログラム内容・介入手法の改善を図り、最終的にランダム化比較試験に発展させていく予定である。
