Each of the investigators has continued his research into the origin and structure of rationality in dialogues and contorversies from his own viewpoint and has been engaged in the work of summarizing the result of his research.Amano has researced into the arguments and controversies concerning ethical problems in Plato's early and middle dialogues. Iwata has made an investigation of Aristotle's political philosophy. Tanaka has researched into the method of Socratic elenchus. Imai has investigated Aristotle's Categories. Kuwako has made researches into the way of understanding logos and surrounding world. Kanzaki has researched into the influence Aristotle's De Anima had down the age. Takahashi has made researches into the concept of the 'good' in the ancient Greece. Kato has investigated Augustine's early dialogue De ordine. Yamamoto has researched into the structure of Socratic dialogues and Aristotle's way of understanding 'being' by means of language. Watanabe has made an investigation of Aristotle's Metaphysics.The result of our research has been published in the form of a report entitled "A Research into the Origin and Structure of Rationality in Dialogues and Controversies".
