In this research, synchronized measurements of the voltage phase of many points are carried out using the time synchronized signal from GPS Satellites for the purpose of carrying out on-line observation of the wide area dynamic characteristics of the power system. Eight places in west 60Hz power system and two places in east 50Hz power system were selected, all of which are in university campuses.
