The urban resident's aging is advanced. The aged is divided roughly by the healthy aged, the weak aged, and the nursing aged. There are not studies about the healthy aged and the weak aged at all. But It is important to take preventive measures against the shift from the weak aged to the serious nursing aged for maintaining weak aged's something to live and for lowering their share.In this research, the ideal way of "Healthy maintenance plan" and "Life support" for the weak aged in urban areas was examined synthetically. Concretely, the following seven themes were considered.A) Aiming at the proposal of the concrete means for a weak aged to maintain present health,1) The problem was pointed out by understanding and examining the actual condition of dietary habits and digestive and absorptive function.2) The actual conditions of the weak aged's living environment like the temperature, the humidity the interior light and others were defined.3) The actual conditions of the weak aged according to their health were defined, and the relation between both was arranged.4) It was thought about the ideal way of the life support by evaluating the exercise and physical functions, and the exercise program was examined.B) Because the shift from the weak aged to the nursing aged was frequently related to the accidents in daily life,5) The actual conditions of the accidents in houses, the product accidents and reality of remodeling, improving, houses were defined.C) Because the weak aged need support for a part of their life,6) How frequently the care service was used, the user's satisfaction rating and their life satisfaction were examined.7) The ideal way of the local support system by the volunteer and others was considered.
