项目摘要

本研究はミクロネシア地域を対象としており、現在、ミクロネシア連邦（Federated States of Micronesia: FSM）を最初の対象国として研究を推進中である。今（2021）年度後半に、東工大とグアム大の実験結果について、山邑がオペレーションズ・リサーチ学会において発表した。現在、これまでの実験結果に加え、昨年度末（2021年3月）に早稲田大で実施した実験結果を合わせて分析と解析を進め、学術論文執筆の準備中である。今年度前半に予定していた現地コーディネーターによるポンペイ島住民に対する調査は、島内の新型コロナによる厳しい行動制限が継続し、次年度以降に延期せざるを得なくなった。昨年度から実施された鎖国政策が一貫して継続され、同島にあるミクロネシア大学（College of Micronesia: COM）本校での経済実験の今年度実施は断念せざるを得なくなった。その代替・補完的な候補地として、同じミクロネシア地域にあり、FSMの西側に位置し、1人当たりGDPが途上国レベルを超えるまでに発展した、パラオ共和国での経済実験の可能性も模索することになった。WEBベースによるミクロネシアでの調査や実験仕組みの開発は、これまで先進国で実施されてきた典型的な囚人のジレンマゲームや最後通牒ゲームなどを、現地独自の生活様式や社会構造にどのように適合するかについて議論した。メンテナンス・ゲームの改訂については様々なゲーム形式について議論し、理論的な課題を解決し、実装のためのアプリ改訂の準備を進めた。心理学的研究のタスクフォースは、東工大、グアム大、早稲田大で実施された心理学的調査結果の分析を進め、文化人類学的研究のタスクフォースは、これまでメンバーが蓄積してきたFSMに関する文化人類学的知見のシミュレーション分析への応用について、活発に議論を展開した。
