Today, the use of multimedia teaching materials and the literacy of personal computer are necessary at least to the students of elementary and secondary schools, especially in science and mathematical educations for the highly information-oriented society. However, the teacher presently employed and the student of the teacher's college may not have enough ability in adaptation to the highly information-oriented society. Our project was therefore carried out to improve on the curriculum and content of science and mathematical educations in the teacher's college, and then to release our project's results to Web based learning (hereafter WBL ; it is the learning method through WWW ) in net work.The reform in science and mathematical educations was initially carried out. The teaching materials were developed in the multimedia style and finally, they could be remade to hypertext style. To my regret, they were not opened completely to the public, because LAN in Saitama University was not served for WWW. Our WBL site was therefore opened to the teachers in Saitama prefecture through the site of " WWW.e-sensei.ne.jp" of Toyo-kan publishing company. After that we sent our questionnaire to teachers presently employed on the our WBL. The responses of teachers to our questionnaire were collected, and then as concerns their expectations, there were three kinds of resources on WBL. They were first, the informational resources for the science experimentation, secondly, the site of the exchange among their comments and informations, and thirdly, the site to put their educational ideas in practice in home page (HP). Now, our project can grow up to next stage which the recurrent education (training) of teachers presently employed will be carried out through WBL.
在当今高度信息化的社会,多媒体教材的使用和个人计算机的素养至少对中小学生来说是必要的,特别是在科学和数学教育中。然而,目前在职教师和师范生的适应能力可能还不够,高度信息化的社会。为此,我们实施了一个对师范院校科学与数学教育课程和内容进行改进的项目,并将项目的成果发布到基于Web的网络学习(以下简称WBL,即通过WWW的学习方式)中,初步实现了科学与数学教育的改革。教材以多媒体的形式开发,最后,它们可以被重新制作成超文本的形式。遗憾的是,由于琦玉大学的局域网没有为WWW服务,所以没有完全向公众开放。我们的WBL网站因此通过Toyo-kan出版公司的网站“WWW.e-sensei.ne.jp“向琦玉县的教师开放。之后,我们向目前受雇于我们WBL的教师发送了我们的调查问卷。本研究收集了教师对问卷的回应,并根据教师对网络教学资源的期望,将网络教学资源分为三类。主页是科学实验的信息资源,是科学实验者之间交流意见和信息的场所,是科学实验者教育思想的实践场所。现在,我们的项目可以发展到下一个阶段,目前在职教师的经常性教育(培训)将通过WBL进行。
