Basic research and field test for the development of greening technology were conducted by utilization of salt-tolerant weeds to the salt-affected soil spreded in the world.For the field test, several weeds species were transplanted on the saline soil in Phimai of Northeastern Thailand to make clear the effects of weed planting on the changes of micro-environments and the possibility in greening of saline soil. Salt content was decreased in all the plots of the weed planting compared with that of no weed control plot, suggesting that weeds may be used to improve the saline soil as the pioneer plants. However, it is unclear that the effects on decreasing saltcontent in soil are due to the evaporation of soil moisture from the soil surface or the absorption of salts into the plants. Furthermore, it is necessary to conform the effects for a longer time and the magnitude of the effects to establish the greening technology by utilization of weeds.During the research period, the mechanisms of salt damage and salt tolerance in weed species in the viewpoint of the occuring and sacvenging of activated oxygens under the salt stress and the development of propagation of the usuful weeds for the greening of saline soil by tissue culture technology were also investigated.
利用耐盐杂草对国内外广泛分布的盐渍土进行绿化技术开发的基础研究和田间试验,在泰国东北部披迈的盐渍土上种植几种杂草,以明确杂草种植对盐渍土微环境变化的影响及绿化盐渍土的可能性。与对照区相比,种植杂草的各处理区土壤盐分含量均有所降低,表明杂草可作为先锋植物用于改良盐渍土。然而,目前还不清楚降低土壤含盐量的效果是由于土壤水分从土壤表面蒸发还是由于植物吸收盐分。此外,建立杂草利用绿化技术还需要确认较长时间的效果和效果的大小。在研究期间,从盐胁迫下活性氧的产生和释放以及盐碱地绿化常用杂草的组织繁殖发展等方面,探讨了杂草的盐害和耐盐机理并对培养技术进行了研究。
