A Study of Ancient Maritime Trade seenfiom City sites between Persian Gulf and Red sea regions.

波斯湾和红海是古印度洋重要的关键贸易通道。遗址上的考古材料反映了文化关系和贸易状况。为了寻找新的材料和历史证据，对霍尔法坎古堡遗址和霍尔卡尔巴古城遗址进行了挖掘。同时，印度洋沿岸也开展了调查，收集了许多贸易货物。通过对交易材料的组合、质量、数量和来源的研究，对这些发现进行整理和分析，以重建其历史和社会。虽然一些研究结果已经发表，但通过海上贸易重建文化交流的比较研究和科学分析工作仍在进行中。

Persian Gulf and Red sea was the important key trade route in the ancient Indian Ocean. Archaeological material from the site reflects the cultural relationship and the trade condition. To find new material and historical evidences, excavation at Khorfakkan old fort site and Khorkalba old town site has been carried out. At the same time, survey along the Indian Ocean has also carried out to collected many traded wares.The finds were sorted and analyzed for the reconstruction of the history and their society, by studying the assemblage, qualities, quantities, and the provenances of traded materials. Although some of the results of studies were already published, comparative studies and scientific analysis are still on work for reconstruction of the cultural interchange through the maritime trade.
