Modeling of Pedestrian Route Choice Behavior and its Application to Pedestrian Information System

针对一体化行人信息系统架构，对行人路径选择行为进行了分析。本研究的结果包括：(1)验证假设行人倾向于在可供选择的路径长度相等的交叉口直线运动，并倾向于选择一条路径以最小化路径与线OD之间的夹角，建立了网格网络中的行人路径选择模型。(2)由于为了分析行人行为，准确的街道网络数据是必不可少的。这项研究开发了一种可以使用传统地图来构建网络的系统。(3)能量新陈代谢的概念使评估行人设施成为可能，包括自动扶梯和自动人行道等行人支持系统。本研究从能量代谢的角度，对行人辅助系统的作用进行了量化分析。(4)提出了一种从残疾人角度对步行街服务水平进行评估的方法。(5)在上述研究成果的基础上，探讨了如何整合现有行人信息系统的方向。

This study analyses pedestrian route choice behavior for integrated pedestrian information system architecture. The results of this study include:(1) Verifying the assumptions including that pedestrians favor the straight movement at an intersection where alternative paths are of equal length, and prefer to choose a route to minimize the angle between the route and line OD, this study develops a pedestrian route choice model in grid networks.(2) Since in order to analyze pedestrian behavior, precise street network data are indispensable. This study develops a system which can make the network using traditional maps.(3) The concept of energy metabolism makes it possible to evaluate pedestrian facilities including pedestrian supporting systems such as escalators and moving walks. Considering energy metabolism, this study makes a quantitative analysis of effect of the pedestrian supporting systems.(4) This study develops a method to assess the level of service of pedestrian streets from viewpoints of disabled persons.(5) Based on the findings described above, this study discusses a direction how to integrate the current pedestrian information system.
