Study on the dwelling in the changing process of family, individual and society in the present day Reconstruction of family habitation and communication in the tendency toward society with decreasing birth rate, aging and individualization

本研究分为两个课题。本研究的第一部分是从父母与子女的居住关系出发，探讨老年父母赡养的发展趋势。我们明确表示如下。近年来，老年父母与子女家庭居住的住宿家庭正在减少。半近距离居住关系取代了寄宿家庭的形式。半近距离居住关系是指子女家庭将居住地设在工作地点和父母住所的中间，以在赡养父母老人和方便上下班之间取得平衡。在半封闭的居住关系中，子女家庭对父母的联系和支持较多。第二部分从吃饭和学习两个方面探讨了家庭成员在家中产生沟通的措施。首先，我们澄清了一个客厅变成一个“chanoma”或客厅变成一个客厅餐厅近年来通过插入在文件和房屋计划，照片和解释，出现在住房杂志上的住房法案的变化。其次，通过对住宅生活和住宅杂志的研究，考察了信息家电进入住宅和住宅共同学习空间的情况，指出了家庭研究的必要性和可能性。这些结果表明，他们有倾向或偏好的开放和宽敞的房间，从小隔间的房间。这似乎是方向性的温和沟通，是基于家庭成员之间的视觉接触。这种开放性或宽敞性是规划房屋交流空间的关键概念。

This study is divided into two subjects. The aim of the part one of this study is to consider the trend of the support for the aged parents based on the residential relationship between parents and children. We made clear as follows. The lodging household which the aged parents reside with children family is decreasing recently. Instead of the lodging household, Semi-close residential relationship is increasing. Semi-close residential relationship mean that children family take up their residence at halfway between their work place and parents house to keep a balance between support the aged parents and convenience of commuter trip. There are much contact and support for parents by children family in the semi-close residential relationship.In the second part, We investigated the measures to generate communication of family members at their houses from the viewpoints of meal and study. Firstly we clarified the change of a living room into a "chanoma" or the change of a living room into a living-dining room in recent years through the housing bills inserted in papers and the house plans, photographs and explanations that appeared on the housing magazines. Secondly we investigated the introduction of information appliances to the home and the space for common study in a house through the researches of housing life and the housing magazines, and we pointed out necessity and possibility of a family study. These results show that they have an inclination or a preference toward an open and spacious room from small partitioned room. It seems to be directivity to mild communication that is based on visual contact between family members. This openness or spaciousness is the key concept for planning of communication space of a house.
