The research on the actual condition of the advanced case of the preceding fiscal year is taken, and 3 questionnaire investigation is greatly being carried out in 2004. The first questionaire is for the city planning administrater on the compact city strategy and the housing policy for the downtown residence in charge of all the cities which exist in the Tohoku area.As for the cities of less than 100000 people, still the suburbs expansion is continued, and moreover the conditions that the validity of the housing policy for the downtown residence wasn't made of security became obvious at the request for the agricultural land diversion by the agriculturalist.And, as for the cities of more than 100000 people, though the city planning master plan to the compact city is settled on in a form to work with the housing master plan and the center city area activated master plan together, there is present condition when consistency with a goal which has a few self-governing bodies which a concret … More e downtown residence policy is taken from very much and to state, and the actual policy can't be taken very much.Inhabitant questionnaire investigation was carried out, for the residence in the suburbs of Hachinohe City which aim at compact gusset-making in the city planning master plan. It was carried out to investigate the demand for moving tothe downtown from the suburb of the household which build the house in suburb residential section in 1970's and the reration to the downtown residence policy.The conditions to live realistically and not to aim at a spare became obvious at the beginning of the questionnaire.
