Translation and Commentary of Aristotle's Metaphysics Books VII, VIII, IX

我已经完成了亚里士多德《形而上学》核心著作第七、第八、第九册的翻译工作。虽然在日本，这本书有1942和1959年的两个译本，但从那时起，它已经走过了大约半个世纪。在这一时期，亚里士多德的研究在质和量上都有了长足的进步。通过我自己的翻译尝试，我意识到必须在适当的时候对整本书进行新的翻译。我发现与以前的日语翻译有很多不同之处。我还附上了四篇类似评论的文章。在第一篇文章中，我主要讨论了以第七卷为依据。在第二篇评论中，我类似于文章，考察了第七章第三章的基础和物质。在第三篇文章中，我通过对亚里士多德的力量观和运动观的分析，探讨了亚里士多德的能力观、能动性和完美化的实态等情态概念。这部著作主要是关于第九册的。在第四篇文章中，我论证了“本质”一词是如何在他对存在的分析中创造出来的。通过这些研究，我认识到亚里士多德对存在的思考是如何微妙而稳定地向前推进的。这本书通过发展物质、形式和势的理论，完善现实状态，为后来几个世纪的形而上学研究奠定了坚实的基础。这些对存在的分析工具过去是，将来也将是任何关于存在的哲学思想的标准，那是我们生活的整个环境。

I have completed the translation of the central books VII, VIII, IX of Aristotle's Metaphysics. Although in Japan, there are two translations of this Book in 1942 and 1959, it has passed about half century since then. In this period, study of Aristotle has rapidly advanced in terms of quality and quantity. I have realized through the attempt of my own translation that the new translation of the entire books must be done in due course. I have found many disagreements with the previous translations in Japanese. I also attached four commentary-like articles. In the first article, I discussed on Being based on mainly book VII. In the second commentary like article, I investigated on substratum and matter in the book VII.3. In the third article, I worked on Aristotle's modal notions of being such as potentiality, activity and perfect actual state through the analysis of his notions of power and movement. This work is mainly on the Book IX. In the fourth article, I argued how the phrase "essence" is coined in his analysis of Being. Through these studies, I have realized how subtle and steady Aristotle made advance in his thought on Being. This book set the steady foundation for the subsequent study of Metaphysics for centuries by developing the theory of matter and form and potentiality and perfect actual state. These instrument of analysis of Being have been and will be the standard for any philosophical thought on Being, that is entire circumstance in which we live.
