I offer a translation and a commentary of Aristotle's Posterior Analytics. This book is impressively characterized by J.Barnes as follows : "It is, on any account, one of the most brilliant, original, and influential works in the history of philosophy ; it determined the course of philosophy of science--and to some extent of science itself--for two millennia." (Aristotle Posterior Analytics, xiv Oxford 1994) Today, it is the age of Science and technology and we are under their grace and their constraints. To grasp science and scientific knowledge with regard to how they were understood, in their inception, by Aristotle, urges us to understand and reflect them which created the situation of today from their origin. In this study, I offer an translation of "Posterior Analytics" with some omission and as a commentary, I offer the reference to the relevant arguments in my commentary work on this book : "Aristotle on Explanation ; Demonstrative Science and Scientific Inquiry" Part I (No.70, pp.1-110,1991), Part II (No.71, pp.1-95,1992), (The Annual Report on Cultural Science, Faculty of Letters Hokkaido University)
