Yase-no-doji's spatial perception and historical cognition : Historical approach to"ordinary"and"extraordinary" space

18世纪初，日本和日本之间发生边界纠纷时，日本的空间感知变得明显起来。作为试验的结果，绘出了Yase和Enryakuji寺之间的边界。目前我们可以参考五张地图。我们估计边界的位置和地图上写的东西，比较地形和航空照片。我们还进行了实地工作。然后我们制作了数字地图来显示五种地图之间的差异。分析结果表明，Yase和Enryakuji寺之间的边界与现在在Biwa-ko国立公园西端的gennroku - kunezu上的yamasiro - nokuni和oumi - nokuni之间的边界一致。边界争端的原因是在Yase和Ohara村进行的灌木丛采伐特许权。雅司野土司从恩利寺的庇护所收集了灌木，并在京都的市场上出售。这种普通的经济活动引发了与恩利寺的边界纠纷。然而，由于皇帝的特权，yasenodoji得到了有利的审判。为了表达他们的感谢，一个叫做“沙门chi-odori”的节日开始了。最早的沙门chi-odori可以追溯到11世纪中期。因此，在18世纪早期，关于中世纪节日组织的历史认知发生了变化。

Yase-no-doji's spatial perception became obvious when a border dispute between Yase and Enryakuji happened in early 18th century. As a result of trial, the border between Yase and Enryakuji Temple was mapped on. At present we can refer five maps. We estimate the site of border and things that were written on maps, comparing with a topography and an air photo. We also carried out field works. Then we made digital maps to show differences among five maps. The findings in analysis revealed that the border between Yase and Enryakuji Temple conform with a border between Yamasiro-no-kuni and Oumi-no-kuni on a Gennroku-kuniezu, which is now on westen tip of Biwa-ko national park.The border dispute was attributed to a concession of brushwood picking that was done in Yase and Ohara village. Yase-no-doji collected brushwood from a sanctuary of Enryakuji Temple and sold it at a market in Kyoto. This ordinary economical activity brought border disputes with Enryakuji Temple. However Yase-no-doji got a favorable trial because of a privilege from an emperor. To express their thanks, a festival called Shamenchi-odori started. Original Shamenchi-odori can date back to middle of 11th century. Therefore it would be that historical cognition changed in early 18th century in terms of medieval festival organization.
