To show the difference between the health conditions of health and physical education (H&PE) teachers and other teachers in high school.we conducted three surveys :1.A questionnaire covered the age at and cause of teachers' deaths in all high schools in Japan.2.A questionnaire covered the body weight of H&PE teachers in Okayama prefecture.3.A measurement of caloric intake and expenditure in 29 high school teachers.The findings as follows :1.In H&PE teachers deaths from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases were observed during 45-49 and 55-59 years of age, respectively.2.There are many H&PE teachers who gain weight after reaching the age of 40.3.As for caloric intake and expenditure, there was no significant difference between H&PE and other teachers.These surveys show the importance of balancing caloric intake and expenditure before teachers reach the age of 40. We recommend that all teachers pay attention to their body weight and diet before problems can start once they reach their 40s.

目的：探讨高中健康体育教师的健康状况与其他教师的差异。我们进行了三个调查：1。一份调查问卷涵盖了日本所有高中教师的年龄和死亡原因。问卷调查了冈山县体育教师的体重。29名高中教师热量摄入与消耗的测量。研究结果如下：体育教师中因心脑血管疾病死亡的年龄分别为45-49岁和55-59岁。有很多H&PE老师在40.3岁之后体重增加。在热量摄入和消耗方面，H&PE与其他教师没有显著差异。这些调查显示了教师在40岁之前平衡热量摄入和消耗的重要性。我们建议所有的老师都要注意他们的体重和饮食，以免他们在40多岁时出现问题。
