On Study of a General Voyage Support System with Conversational Interface, Support of Accomplishment of a Voyage Plan

The watch for deck officers is considered to be one of their most important tasks during a voyage. Additional work, for example charting and monitoring, must not prevent them from devoting themselves to their watch. To save time, we have formed an integrated voyage support system with a voice activated interface mechanism. As a result, using the support system will enable the officers to get needed information without the distraction of using a mouse or key board while on watch.
