1) Research and Development of Context-Aware System InfrastructureWe have investigated and developed a system for managing various kinds of contents which are generated in organization activities. It is necessary to understand organization members' situations and/or group situations for creating and showing meeting contents. Therefore, we have considered a method for understanding members' situations in a meeting by using user contexts information. Specifically, this system understands meeting and user status by using IC-Tags and sensor information, and automatically records and organizes the meeting contents to be showed to users. We have developed a prototype system with the group-presence function which is a basic technology in this system by using passive RFID-Tags, and evaluated its validity. Moreover we have designed a system for automatically creating dynamic group-presence information by using active RDIF-Tags.2) Study of Collaborative Meeting Minutes SystemWe have evaluated Co … More llabMinutes, a meeting minutes system produced collaboratively, by analyzing system logs and questionnaires for two years operation. In results, we can find not only quantitative increase, but also qualitative improvement in the recorded contents. In addition, we can reduce labor more than 40 percent by using our method. Furthermore, we can find the recording speed of our method catches up with speaking speed.3) Study of Collaborative Meeting Annotation System Using PresentationWe have developed a system of collaborative annotation system CollabSticky for collecting users' comments to presentation slides in a meeting. It is hard to collect the comments in presentation, because it takes much time for the participants to understand the presentation. Then we focus on acts of putting marks or writing memos in reading books, and we consider promoting posting appropriate comments by sticking tags in the presentation slides. In results of evaluation, this system enable to collect many users' comments more than conventional meeting comment collecting systems such as a chat system.4) Study of Entry Recommendation System in Intranet-blogWe have considered and developed an entry recommendation system supporting dynamically changing users' interests in intranet-blog. For recommending right entries to users, we have categorized the users' interests to long-span interests and short-span interests.
