The Development of the German IT-Teaching Materials

The purpose of this research program was to develop the German IT-Teaching Materials based on scientific researches of the German language.As first step, we tried to clarify the applicable relationships between linguistics and language teaching and summarized our considerations as "a concept of the German researches". And we could propose some examples of the research which aims at the application to the language teaching, too.As second step, we evaluated the German exercises which we have had collected until then. The exercise materials consist of sentence practices, conjugation practices, declension practices with grammatical explanations.As third step, we developed the computer program which makes it possible to drill the above-mentioned exercises with a computer. One can practice the exercises of the German grammar with their computers listening to the pronunciations.As the next step after this program we will try to improve the contents of our teaching materials, especially through investigating expressions which are used in situations which Japanese tourists come across on the trip in Germany.
