本研究では,コミュニケ-ション障害を広く「関係が取りにくい」「気持ちが通じない」という当事2者間の間主観的感じ分けの問題として捉え,その関係の相互的な調整の在り方を,観察記録及び実際の指導を通して明確にしたいと考えた。研究代表者,研究分担者個々の具体的な成果は下記の通りである。鯨岡は,乳幼児と母親(保母)との原初的コミュニケ-ション関係に関して作成した「原初的コミュニケ-ション関係の構造モデル」を,さらに観察資料を加える中で検討・修正し,それを平成2年度島根大学教育学部研究紀要に発表した。また,このモデルに基づいて,平成2年度重点領域研究成果発表会の公開シンポジウム「コミュニケ-ション障害研究の今後」にシンポジストとして参加すると共に,平成2年度科研究成果発表論文集に過去3ケ年の研究成果の総括を発表した。津守は,学童期の障害児を養護学校場面で観察・録取し,教師の内省報告を継続的に記録した(前年度からの継続)。それと共に,数人の子どもの長期に亙る縦断的な記録を整理して教師ー子どものコミュニケ-ション的関係を明確にし,それを基礎に研究成果を平成2年度重点領域研究成果発表論文集に発表した。大石と肥後は,共同して,幼児期から少年期に及ぶ指導事例の指導記録・育児日記及び回想記録を分析し,子どもー指導者間のコミュニケ-ション関係の成立課程を明確にした。これは,平成2年度重点領域研究成果発表論文集に発表された。また,障害児の指導実践に日頃携わっている教師や保母を対象に合宿セナミ-を開催し,障害児の指導のあり方を,特に教師や保母の側の関わり方の問題として検討を加えた。松沢は,チンパンジ-に3者間のコミュニケ-ションにおけるメッセンジャ-の役割を与え,その時のチンパンジ-の行動の特徴を明確にした。なお,これらの研究成果は平成3年度科学研究費「成果とりまとめ」に基づいて刊行される重点領域研究総括班の論文集に収録される予定である。
