昨年度に引き続き、福島県白河市・会津若松市・茨城県日立市、熊本県熊本市、沖縄県における無型アクセント調査研究と韓国人日本語学習者に対する日本語アクセント指導の試行を行い、また今年度新たに、愛媛県大洲市を調査対象に加え、研究を行った。詳しくは次の通りである。(1)福島県白河市・会津若松市を対象にした研究では、昨年度収録した自然談話の音調符合付きの文字化を約1時間分進めている。また、今年度語アクセントと文アクセントの調査を行い、世代差や場面差によるアクセントの違いがあるのではないか、と仮定し分析を進めている。(2)茨城県日立市を対象にした研究では、昨年度収録した自然談話の文字化約30分分を終えた。今年度は語アクセント・文アクセントの調査を行った。(3)熊本県熊本市対象の調査では、自然談話収録と文アクセントの調査を終え、文型によってそのイントネ-ションパタ-ンが異なるのではないか、イントネ-ションが意味的機能(話し手の表現意図・モダリティ・丁寧さ)を持つのではないか、と仮設を得、更に分析を進めている。(4)愛媛県大洲市の研究では、本年度自然談話の収録を行い、その調査分析を進めている。(5)沖縄県の研究では、宮古狩俣方言の音声・音韻・1〜3拍語のアクセント調査を終え、音韻の面では特に無声化現象や有声音化と脱落現象の要因の究明を進めている。また一型アクセントの史的変遷についても研究している。(6)韓国人に対する日本語アクセント指導の試行では、学習者の習得度調査を実施後実験クラスを開設し、学習者をアクセントの規則を明示的に教えるクラスと、反復練習を中心とするクラスに分けたが、現在のところこの二つのクラスに目立った差異はない。なお、(1)〜(5)までの調査地点での調査結果は相互に照らし合わせ、比較検討中である。
