1.目的徳川期の宗門改帳は諸外国には存在しない貴重な人口資料であり,日本の歴史人口学には不可欠なものである。しかし,宗門改帳の整理および各種人口指標の算出には多大の労力と時間を必要とする。このような現状に鑑み,本研究は,1)宗門改帳のデータ入力方法の統一化を行い,2)それから各種の人口指標を算出し,3)それを2次元あるいは3次元空間に表現するという3つの目的を持つ。2.調査結果上の3つの目的のうち、本年度は,1)宗門改帳のデータ入力方法,2)どのような人口指標をグラフィック化すれば有効かという2点を中心に調査した。(1)データ入力の方法本年度は3種類(小野方式,川口方式,速水・木下方式)の入力方法を調査した。これらの方法はそれぞれ特徴を持つが,今後,国際日本文化研究センターの小野芳彦氏による方式に集約されていくものと予想される。小野方式では入力エラーを極力少なくするよう様々な工夫がなされ,また人口と世帯に関する情報を同時に入力できるなどの利点を備えている。(2)人口指標のグラフィック化ここでは山形県天童市内の旧山家村の宗門改帳を使い,いくつかの人口指標をグラフィック化し,その有効性を検討した。人口の年齢構成は単純な指標ではあるが,それが3次元に表現されると非常に有用であることが分かった。なぜなら,それから年齢構成だけではなく,史料の信憑性,人口移動や出生についても推察できるからである。今年度の調査を踏まえ,来年度は出生率や死亡率の3次元表現を試み,その有用性を検討したい。

1. Objective: To study the history of Japan and the important demographic data of Japan. In addition, the reorganization of clan accounts and the calculation of various population indicators require a large amount of time. In order to identify the current situation, this study includes: 1) unifying the methods of clan reform, 2) calculating various population indicators, 3) maintaining the objectives of 2-D spatial representation. 2. The results of the survey include three objectives: 1) the method of population reform, 2) the population index, and 2) the central survey. (1)This year, three types of penetration methods (Ono method, Kawaguchi method, Hayami and Kinoshita method) were investigated. This method is based on the characteristics of Japanese culture, and in the future, the international Japanese cultural research center will focus on Japanese culture in an intensive way. Ono's approach is to reduce the amount of time required for population and social development, and to prepare for the benefits of population and social development. (2)The population index of the old mountain village in the city of Tiantong is discussed. The composition of the population is pure, and the three dimensions are very useful. The historical data is reliable, and the population movement is born. This year's survey was conducted to test the three-dimensional performance of birth rate and mortality rate in the coming year, and to discuss their usefulness.
