项目摘要

本研究は、国文学研究資料館史料館が所蔵する渋沢敬三による「日本実業史博物館」構想のもとに収集された産業経済資料約25,000点以上にのぼるコレクションの中から、我が国の近代黎明期における産業経済の技術に関する様々な「器物資料」を中心にモノ情報の調査を実施し、特定のコレクション意図を探求・分析する基礎的研究を実施することを目的とする。平成15年度の研究の具体的内容を次に簡潔にまとめる。このコレクション資料の一部は、1940(昭和15)年「紀元二千六百年記念明治大正昭和経済文化展覧会」において東京など国内4箇所、海を渡り京城(ソウル)で展示されたことが研究の過程で明らかとなった。展示品のほとんどが史料館収蔵資料と特定できるものである。博物館設立が最終的に頓挫したため、博物館コレクションが唯一まとまって多くの人々のために展示された機会となった。このようにコレクションの意図を解明し、展覧会写真帳・図録、整理用カードや博物館準備室の収集日誌および領収書・登録台帳の分析と残存資料との照合等を行い、アーカイブズ学的手法による検討を行った。収集日誌は1943〜45年の3年間分だけであり、収集活動の全容を窺えるものではないが、日本実業史博物館設立準備室の資料収集過程を具体的に示す記録であるため、すべての画像収録を行った。これらの成果を資料目録情報の簡易データベースとして構築し、さらに画像データベース(絵画・写真・器物資料)を作成し、公開準備の終盤段階である。このデータベースの構築により、実証的資料自体の情報を提供できるとともに、ビジュアルな情報提供の基盤を整備し、成果の共有化と普及に努めた。本研究の成果は、日本実業史博物館コレクションの形成に関する研究とその構造(内容)に関する研究をアーカイブズ的観点で検討を加え、コレクションの内、絵画・写真・産業経済資料の画像を含めたデータベース作成したこと、さらに全資料の段階的な保存管理計画を立案し、概要的状態調査と簡易な保存措置を実施できたことである。

This research is based on the "Japan Industrial History Museum", a collection of industrial history data of more than 25,000 points, and a survey of information related to the technology of industrial history at the dawn of modern China. The purpose of specific research is to explore and analyze basic research methods. The specific contents of Heisei 15 research are concise and concise. A part of the data was displayed at the Meiji Taisho Cultural Exhibition in 1940(Showa 15), which was held in four Japanese cities and the sea crossing the capital. Exhibits are collected in the Museum of Historical Materials. The museum was established as the ultimate opportunity for exhibitions. The results of this project are available in the form of a simple catalogue of information, a portrait catalogue (drawing, photo and device resource material), and a final stage of public preparation. The construction and implementation of the data itself provide information on the development and sharing of results. The results of this study include the research on the structure (content) of the Japanese Museum of Industrial History, the investigation of the state of the outline, the simple preservation management plan for the preservation of the whole data stage, and the discussion on the point of view of the research on the development of the Japanese Museum of Industrial History.
