本研究の目的は、本邦・欧米・韓国などの症例との厳密な比較検討を行い、悪性リンパ腫の地理的特性の解明を試みることにある。ドイツ国、H.K.Muller-Hermelink教授(Wuerzburg大学)(2002年5月)、韓国のC.W.Kim教授(ソウル国立大学)(2002年8月、2003年1月)と相互の病理診断の検証と各国の悪性リンパ腫特性の協議を行なった。その結果、現在のリンパ腫病学における問題点について共通の認識を有するに至った。現在、問題解決のために、特に末梢性T/NK細胞リンパ腫1,000例におけるバイオインフォマテックス解析による新分類画定のための共同研究の合意を得た。これを完遂することにより、悪性リンパ腫の地理病理学的、疫学的特性の差異が生物学的側面からより厳密に検証されるものと期待される。我々が世界に先駆け報告した新疾患単位群、特にblastic NK-cell lymphomaやintravascular lymphomatosisアジア亜型などについては未だ疾患自体の認識が十二分ではなく、今後に課題を残すこととなった。一方、年度内に新たな生物学的予後予測因子としてびまん性大細胞リンパ腫におけるCD5を発表するとともに、肺MALTリンパ腫におけるAPI2-MALT1遺伝子の臨床病理学的意義について新たな知見を加えた。CD5陽性びまん性B大細胞型リンパ腫については、その特殊性がドイツ国でも認識されつつあり、今後に国際比較研究に理解が得られた。

The purpose of this study is to compare the clinical manifestations and the geographical characteristics of breast cancer in China, Europe and South Korea. A protocol was established between Dr. D.K.Muller-Hermelink (Wuerzburg University)(May 2002) and Dr. C.W.Kim (Seoul National University)(August 2002, January 2003) on the identification and characterization of pathological changes in different countries. The results of the study, the current situation and the problems of common knowledge are discussed. Now, the problem solving and the special peripheral T/NK cell proliferation in 1,000 cases are solved. The differences in geographical, pathological and epidemiological characteristics of the disease and the differences in biological characteristics are discussed in detail. We are the first to report new disease groups, especially blastic NK-cell lymphoma and intravascular lymphoma. A new biological predictive factor for the development of CD5 gene expression in lung MALT and API2-MALT1 gene expression in lung MALT and its clinical pathological significance. CD5-positive and B-type macrocytosis is understood by international comparative studies in the future.
