项目摘要

1.目的本計画研究の目的は中世の拠点城郭と都市について、考古学、建築史、歴史地理学、歴史学、情報工学といった異なった学問分野の研究者が従来の「学際」の枠を超えた「学融合」を果たすことで、新たな分析方法を開拓し、新領域を創生していくことにある。2.学融合の模索そこで本年度は長崎県・原城跡を中心に「原城・島原の乱研究会」を開催し、地域の研究者に公開した。発掘成果から判明した原城の実像、原城内の籠城の具体的様相、キリシタン遺物、絵図との比較、乱の背景と国際情勢、出土殺傷人骨の形質人類学的研究などを視点に、考古学、文献史学、歴史地理学、形質人類学、宗教学の分野から学融合的に検討を進めた。この結果、籠城者の遺体に広く認められる異常な損壊は、死後の復活を阻止しようとしたためであって、幕府軍の虐殺行為と評価すべきではないことが判明した。またキリシタン遺体への過剰な損壊は、島原の乱後に起きた郡崩れなど、のちの幕府による遺体処理に受け継がれたことも確認できた。そうした成果は2006年11月10日の読売新聞で報道された。3.CG制作本年度も引き続き愛知県長篠城のCG制作を進めた。個別の櫓、門などをCGとして再現するところまで作業を進めた。4.調査国内の中世および織豊期城郭・都市遺跡に関わる現地調査・関連資料調査に加え、国外では韓国の民家調査、イギリスの都市地図調査、中国内蒙古地区の城郭都市調査を実施した。
