Integrated Research on the Assyrian Civilization in Northern Mesopotamia

本研究主要集中在叙利亚东北部的Tell Taban进行调查。在研究期间，我们在泰尔塔班进行了挖掘。最引人注目的发现是出土了大量的古巴比伦（公元前18年）和中亚述（公元前13、12年）楔形文字。根据这些文献的研究结果，我们明确了公元前2000年上半叶美索不达米亚北部地区统治区域的变化和中亚述时期部分地方行政制度的变化是亚述帝国形成的过程。

This research mainly focused on the investigation of Tell Taban, in the north-eastern Syria. We carried out excavations at Tell Taban in this research period. The most remarkable discovery is that large number of Old Babylonian (18 B.C.) and Middle Assyrian (13,12 B.C.) cuneiform texts have been excavated. According to the research result of the study of those texts, we clarified that change of the rule area at the northern Mesopotamia in the earlier half of 2nd millennium B.C. and a part of local administration system on the Middle Assyrian period which is process of formation of the Assyrian Empire.
