本研究の目的は、ベンチマーキングの手法を用いて糖尿病療養指導に携わる看護師の自律性尺度を開発することである。看護師は医療職者の中で中心的な役割を担い、多岐にわたる項目を指導することが求められているため、施設規模や部署、経験年数に差異があっても、療養指導内容に差が生じないような各看護師の資質向上が必須であると考える。2022年度はこれまで実施したインタビュー内容の分析から試作版質問紙による調査を実施する予定であったが、新型コロナウイルス感染症の第6波、第7波、第8波が発生し、医療現場はこれまでにない逼迫した状況であったため、昨年度に引き続き全国的な病院施設での調査を断念した。これまで得られた看護師の患者や家族への配慮として「多角的な患者理解」「話す機会の確保」「肯定的なフィードバック」「介入の見極め」「多方面からの介入」、「家族との情報共有」「家族の負担への理解」「実践可能な方法の提案」「多職種との連携」「家族看護の難しさ」「サポートへの感謝」があり、また看護師の療養時の姿勢として、「指導前の丁寧な準備」「共感的な態度」「雰囲気づくり」「身体状況の把握」「生活背景の把握」「自宅での療養行動の確認」「患者の気づきの促進」「他職種の指導内容の補足」「実施可能な療養方法の提案」「合併症症状への対処」「患者からのフィードバックの促し」「家族へのアプローチ」が抽出されたため、この結果に加えて再度インタビュー内容と観察調査内容を分析し直した上で試作版の質問紙を作成していく。
