项目摘要

本国際共同研究は、次の項目を目標としている。①Memory Studiesを日本に導入し、科目を設置する。②国内外の戦争・紛争の記憶がメディア、教育、大衆文化、文化遺産、観光などを通じてどう表象され継承されているのか、実態を把握し、③和解学や史学の成果を援用しつつ、実証研究により、分野横断的な理論を導入し、体系化を図る。④その理論体型と実証研究の手法をまとめ、汎用性を研究分担者・研究協力者らの各専門分野で検討し教材を作成し、⑤記憶の多面性と流動性を実証的に考察することで記憶の理解に柔軟性を導き、記憶利用にかかる国際社会の複雑な利害関係を建設的に討議し、記憶紛争における平和的相互受容の活路を見出す知識とスキルとを滋養する。⑥そのために、欧米で培われた記憶学をアジアの実情に即した内容とフォーマットで日本に導入する学術的基盤を構築する。以上のうち2022年度は、①②③を展開し、成果として論文発表、セミナー、アンケート調査、論文、学会発表を行った。本年度は特に、市民の記憶と記憶伝播の実態調査に注力し、記憶を素材とした二種類の大規模展示会２件と大学生、高校生と被爆体験継承者が協働制作するアート作成や展示会を通じて調査分析を行った。本年度実績として、代表者と国際共同研究者は、グラスゴー大学の記憶学のコースで特別講義を行い、記憶学導入の際の具体的な利点、必要な環境、課題などを研究した。また、リュブリャナ大学犯罪心理学部で、代表者は「広島の記憶」について講演し、戦争記憶の継承が国際社会の心理変化に関与する事例を考察した。代表者による被爆者の記憶で描いた詳細な鉛筆画と証言の英訳書籍と地図三点を用いて、観光者への記憶伝播の効果を検証し、記憶の場所性・空間性と観光を通じた継承の可能性を分析した。また代表者は所属大学で「国際平和への記憶学（Memory Studies）を試験的に立ち上げている。
