项目摘要

2022年度には，身体前後の音に対する空間的注意シフトについての研究，および，前後左右方向における聴覚的なパーソナルスペースの研究を行い，成果を学会で報告した。空間的注意シフトの研究では，参加者の前後のラウドスピーカから呈示した聴覚刺激を弁別する内発的注意課題を用いて（e.g., Golob & Mock, 2020），身体前後をまたぐ注意シフトを検討した。その結果，後方から前方への注意シフトには，前方から後方への注意シフトと比較して，より大きなコストが生じることを示した。この結果は，後方の音に対する持続的注意における高い認知的負荷を反映している可能性があり，現在さらなる検討を進めている。パーソナルスペースの研究では，参加者の前後左右から接近する足音に対して不快感が生起する距離を測定し（e.g., Vagnoni et al., 2018），接近方向ごとの聴覚的距離知覚の違いを考慮して比較した。その結果，後方から接近する足音への不快感はその他の方向と比較してより遠い知覚的距離で生じることが分かり，聴覚的なパーソナルスペースが後方により広いことが示唆された。さらに，パーソナルスペースの広さとの関連が議論されている自閉症スペクトラム傾向の程度をAQ得点（Autism-Spectrum Quotient, Baron-Cohen et al., 2001）を用いて測定し，聴覚的距離知覚およびパーソナルスペースとの相関を検討したところ，AQ得点と聴覚距離の過大推定傾向との正の相関が見られたが，パーソナルスペースの広さとの相関は見られなかった。このことから，高自閉症スペクトラム傾向者に見られる非定型なパーソナルスペースが距離知覚のバイアスに根ざす可能性が示唆され，今後検討を加える予定である。
