项目摘要

本特定研究の最終年度として、次の6つのテーマによる計画研究班6班によって研究を行ない、最終成果のとりまとめを行なった。1.言語の機械処理の前提となる理論言語学の研究機械処理のための日本語文法の作成、文の意味の記号論理学的取扱い、文脈構造とメタファーの研究、さらに文章の全体的構造の明確化などの研究を行なった。2.機械処理のための言語構造の言語間対照研究言語解析のためのソフトウエアシステムを作成し、機械翻訳における訳語選択の方法を提案した。また日本語と英語その他で、訳語対応をさせたときの意味のずれや、法情報の相互対応を明らかにした。3.言語の文脈情報処理の研究メンタルスペース理論を発展させ、これを形式化するとともに、日本語の指示詞の使い方、談話理解への適用を行ない、多くの成果を得た。隣接する文相互間の文脈的関係性、さらに文章理解の計算機モデルの作成、人間と機械の対話システムの作成などを行なった。4.言語データの収集と処理の研究膨大なテキストから複合語の構成についての造語モデルの研究を行ない、またKWIC索引を作成することによって、語の共起性の基礎資料を整備した。5.情報ドクメンテーションのための言語の研究辞書データを解析することによってシソーラスを自動作成すること、言彙と概念との相互関係の研究などを行なった。6.人間の言語処理過程に立脚した自然言語処理方式の研究認知心理学的立場から、文章理解のメカニズムについて研究し、曖昧文の解釈の仕方などについて知見を得た。
