Irrigation and drainage development of sandy deserts in China

本研究由以下三个研究课题组成。(1)开发桑迪沙漠的水资源利用：在沙坡头沙漠试验研究站试验田，采用水分平衡法和热量平衡法估算了滴灌条件下大豆的蒸散量，并通过大豆栽培试验探讨了农村居民点污水处理后农业利用的可能性。桑迪荒漠开垦的土壤管理：对沙坡头站和奈曼荒漠化治理试验研究站的土壤理化性质进行了调查。黄河水地面灌溉对桑迪田的积盐作用认识不足。3)桑迪荒漠水土保持的荒漠化防治：为了研究霍尔果斯桑迪的荒漠化状况，利用遥感技术对奈曼站附近的植被环境进行了监测。通过对遥感数据的分析，探讨了荒漠化防治对策，并对荒漠化趋势进行了预测。

This research is composed of the following three subjects of study. (1) Water resources utilization for development of sandy deserts: in the experimental field at Shapotou Desert Experiment and Research Station, evapotranspiration from soybeans was estimated by the water balance method and the heat balance method under the condition of drip irrigation, and a possibility of agricultural utilization of treated wastewater from a rural settlement was discussed by the experiment of soybeans culture.2) Soil management for cultivation of sandy deserts: the physical and chemical properties of soil at Shapotou Station and at Naiman Desertification Rehabilitation Experiment and Research Station were investigated. The salt accumulation of sandy field by the surface irrigation of the yellow river water was not recognized. 3) Prevention of desertification for soil conservation of sandy deserts: In order to investigate desertification of the Horgin Sandy Land, the vegetation environment near the Naiman Station was monitored by utilization of remote sensing. The counterplan of prevention of desertification was discussed and the trend of desertification was forecasted by the analysis of the remote sensing data.
