英文摘要
The first research topic focuses on high-resolution molecular spectroscopy of molecules in the gas phase. Among other things, fundamental goals are pursued, such as the elucidation of intramolecular dynamics via global hyperpotential surfaces, the provision of spectroscopic measurement data and molecular parameters, such as line positions, band centers, line strengths, pressure broadening coefficients and pressure shift coefficients, also for databases such as Hitran. Here, the focus is on the molecules chlorine dioxide, ozone, trifluoromethane with their diverse isotopologues and isotopomers. The planned work also has application references, such as the physical chemistry of gases in the atmospheres of Earth, other planets, their moons, and in interstellar space. In the second research topic, an experimental simulation and IR spectrometric measurement of the CO2-dominated atmosphere of Mars will be performed. Both the objectives and the experimental capabilities go far beyond those of the preliminary project. In the meantime, a high-resolution FTIR spectrometer with more than doubled resolving power is available, as well as a long-path cell with 200 m optical path, an extraordinarily temperature-stable temperable gas cell, which was developed in the preliminary project, as well as various bolometers and a rare high-performance germanium-copper detector in the far infrared.
