项目摘要

初年度から開始した3歳児対象の縦断的調査を、本年度2022年6月末まで実施した。本調査では、ヒト成人間の対話場面で見られる「迅速なターンテイキング(間)」の発達過程を探索的に調査した。日本語を母語とする調査参加児に対し、日韓バイリンガル実験者が2つの実験を行った。実験では、実験者と参加児の対話インタラクションを母語条件(日本語)と非母語条件(韓国語)で比較した。ビデオカメラおよびマイクで記録した行動と対話データに基づき、対話間の時間的要素を分析した結果、調査参加児は、母語条件と非母語条件の両方で、迅速な対話のやり取りを行っていることが分かった(条件間で有意差なし)。この結果は３歳児に語意が理解できない外国語でも、非言語的要素を通じて相手との対話を持続する能力があることを示している。本研究成果は、2023年1月5-7日に開催された国際学会BCCCD23にて、ポスター発表を行った(Budapest CEU Conference on Cognitive Development 2023 @ブダペスト、ハンガリー)。海外渡航が困難な事情があったため(妊娠)、現地で発表は、第2著者である研究協力者が行った。また、本年度後期には、当初の研究計画であった「母親の歩行速度が乳幼児の選好リズムに与える影響」について調査を開始した。特別研究員本人の妊娠30～36週目までの歩行速度を、スマートフォン内蔵の加速度センサーを用い記録した。この予備調査で妊娠期の母親は一日の中で、ある一定の歩行リズムではなく運動場面に応じて複数の歩行リズムで歩いていることが明らかになった。胎児が、母親の二足歩行による「多様なリズム」を、前庭感覚として経験・学習し、それに反応して行動を調整している可能性について、研究再開後に追加データの取得を予定している。
