项目摘要

2022年度は，想起する出来事の種類，パターン分離と懐かしさの強度の関連性についての研究を行った。昨年度までの研究では，一度きりの出来事・繰り返される出来事の想起時に生じる懐かしさの強度には一貫した差はみられなかった。この結果をより詳細に検討し，懐かしさの生起メカニズムを明らかにすることを目的として，想起する出来事の種類が懐かしさの強度に及ぼす影響はパターン分離の個人差によって調整されるかを検討する実験を行った。実験では，(i) 過去3時点 (2週間前，5年前，10年前)の自伝的記憶 (一度きりの出来事・繰り返される出来事)を想起する課題，(ii) パターン分離のプロセスを反映する課題であるMnemonic Similarity Task，(iii) 懐かしさの個人差を測定する質問紙調査をオンラインで実施した。パターン分離の指標として，Mnemonic Similarity Taskの回答データに基づいて算出されるLure Discrimination Indexを使用した。懐かしさの強度を従属変数とした分析を行った結果，パターン分離の主効果，パターン分離と出来事の種類の交互作用は非有意であり，どちらも懐かしさの強度を説明しなかった。その一方で，出来事の種類の主効果は有意であり，一度きりの出来事の想起時には，繰り返される出来事の想起時よりも強い懐かしさが生じていた。これらの結果に基づき，想起する出来事の種類が懐かしさの強度に及ぼす影響はパターン分離によって調整されない可能性について考察した。本研究成果に加えて，これまでに得られた成果を日本認知心理学会でポスター発表し，論文を投稿し採択された。
