项目摘要

2022年度は、関東地域(現群馬県・茨城県・埼玉県・千葉県域)、長野県域、岐阜県域の古墳・集落出土石製品および長野県域、関東地域の生産遺跡出土資料の実見観察を進め、各資料の生産に用いられた製作技術・工程や石材を分析した。分析の結果、北陸地域以外で製作された石製品の流通時期や流通の範囲・形態を抽出し、特に関東地域において自律的に域内生産・域内流通していた石製品が前期後葉後半に入ると集積・配布主体（倭王権か）を介した他律的な流通に変化した様相が明かになった。また、石製品が多く出土している京都府南山城地域では、京田辺市飯岡車塚古墳出土資料を中心に多数の器種を分析して資料の報告と評価を行い、論考「京田辺市飯岡車塚古墳出土石製品の3Dスキャン」で概要を公表するとともに、京田辺市興戸2号墳や八幡市域の古墳出土石製品の様相も踏まえ、いわゆる「綴喜古墳群」においてその北部（現八幡市域）と南部（現京田辺市域）において石製品の流通・保有のあり方が異なることを発表した。さらに、他の石製品分布地域においても流通・保有・副葬のあり方を復元し、ケース・スタディーを重ねて類型化を図った。また、これらの流通の類型の空間的配置を検討することで、石製品の集積・配布主体たる倭王権が盤踞したと考えられる奈良盆地からの距離に応じて流通・保有のコントロールが逓減していき、各地域の集団／個人の流通・保有の自律性が高まっていく様相が明かになった。これらのミクロな地域ごとの分析の積み重ねによる成果に加え、製作地からの距離に応じた出土点数の減衰パターンを復元した列島規模のマクロな流通パターンと各地の流通類型とを照合して検討した。その結果、両者が連関して相互に影響しながら石製品の流通構造を形成していたことが推定された。
