Das Profil Wine Haven (Yorkshire, England) soll von einer international besetzten Arbeitsgruppe für eine multidisziplinäre Bearbeitung (Cephalopoden, Palynologie, Mikropaläontologie, Geochemie, Magnetostratigraphie) beprobt werden. Ziel ist es, festzustellen, ob sich das Profil als GSSP (Global Standard Stratotype-section and Point) der Sinemur/Pliensbach-Grenze eignet. Der Antragsteller will in Zusammenarbeit mit C. Meister (convenor) die Ammonitenfaunen bearbeiten.
