本研究は,一定の精神的症状や問題行動のある在宅老人の家族介護がもたらす影響を,客観的側面および主観的側面の双方から総合的に捉えるとともに,それらの影響に関連する緒要因を明らかにすることにより,これらの老人と家族のために必要な施策についての示唆を得ることを目的としている。当初の計画では,本年度中に調査結果の第一次的な集計・分析まで行なう予定であったが,後述のサンプル抽出に相当の時間を費さざるをえなかったため,実査の完了までしか行なえなかった。来年度以降に,当研究所の研究費を使って集計・分析と結果報告を行なう予定である。調査の主要な項目は,1老人の精神的症状・問題行動のチェツクリスト,2家族介護の客観的な態勢および条件,3家族全体の凝集性と適応性,4主観的介護負担,5介護者の問題対処態度,6サービスの認知度と利用希望である。なお,3,4,5の項目については,内外の既存研究を参考にして一定の態度測定スケールを作成した。この種のスケールの開発と有効性の検討も,今回の研究の方法的課題のひとつである。この種の調査での最大の難問は,サンプル抽出である。膨大な費用のかかる精神科医による診断や大量の母集団からのスクリーニングは採用できないので,次善の方法として,老人福祉行政部局の情報から「対象者名簿を作成して訪問調査を行ない,上記の「精神症状・問題行動チェックリストに基づいて,最終的なサンプルの確定を行なった。具体的には,東京都内の4区2市の協力を得て,576名(原則として65歳以上)の名簿を作成し,最終的には約400のサンプルが得られる予定である。(一部最終判定が未了)。なお,回答者は対象老人を主に介護している人である。今後の集計・分析に際しては,このようなサンプル上の問題に十分留意する予定である。

The development of this kind of research and development has the characteristics of discussion, this paper returns to the research method of the topic of research and development. The biggest difficulty in this kind of investigation is thatルtook out. In addition, the information provided by the Department of Elderly Welfare is "Creation of a list of subjects, conduct of an interview survey, and recording of" Psychiatric symptoms, problem actions, and determination of final treatment." Specifically, 576 people (65 years old and older in principle) were registered in cooperation with 4 districts and 2 cities in Tokyo, and the final number was about 400.
