半単純リー群上の【L^P】フーリエ解析の研究には、非ユニタリ表現、特に解析的な一様有界表現の構成が必要である。以前に熊原は広島大学総合科学部江口正晃と協力して、リーマン対称空間上の【L^P】解析について満足すべき結果を得たが、本研究においてはそれを群上で考えるのが目的の一つであった。R,A,KunzeとEM,SteinがSL(n,c)で用いた方法をSL(n,R)に適用することから研究を始めることとした。カルタン部分群の非共役類の存在がかなりの困難を生ずるが、次のような結果を得た。SL(3,R)の極小型放物群から誘導された主系列表現に対し、その解析接続を作るために、ガンマ因子により正規化されたintertwining作用素を構成した。この作用素を用いてある帯状領域での正則な一様有界表現が構成できた。分担者松木は、東京大学理学大島利雄と連絡をとりながら、半単純対称空間に対する離散系別の構成を佐藤超関数の方法を用いて、特異な部分もこめて行なった。小島はリーマン多様体上の曲率形式の研究を行った。和泉沢はマルチンゲール対する重みをもった強いタイプのドゥーブ極大不等式を導く一つの十分条件を与えた。栗林と森川をニュートリクス極限を用いた超関数の積の研究を行った。
