昭和53年度第1・4半期から59年度第1・4半期までの, 都市銀行, 地方銀行, 信託銀行, 長期信用銀行, 相互銀行・信用金庫, 農林系統金融機関, 生命保険会社, 投資信託の各業務と個人部門による, 国債, コール, 手形(個人の場合, 代りに預金), 貸出しの保有行動を, フロー・タームによって分析した. 得られた主要な結果は次のとおりである.1.得られた資産保有関数と市場均衡条件から国債利回りの推定値が求められたが, これらは実績値の動きをかなりの程度説明している. つまり, 構造方程式アプローチはかなり成功した.2.貸出しの超過供給が他資産の保有に与える影響即ち漏出効果は, 国債の場合生命保険会社において, コール・手形資金については地方銀行と農林系統金融機関においてそれぞれ見られる.3.3資産の保有に対する各レートの影響と所望保有額に対するそれで見ると, 価格メカニズムに従う行動をとっているのは, 都市銀行と地方銀行の国債, 農林系統の貸出しのそれぞれの保有である. 他方, 価格メカニズムと逆の行動をとっているのは農林系統金融機関コール・手形である.なお次に, 金融政策に短期金利とその予想に影響を与えることにらって長期金利にどのような効果を持つかを分析することが必要であるが, そのこめの予備的な分析を行なった.
