Formation of Southeast Asian Civilization

本研究项目的主要目的是探讨从外部世界传入的文明通过各种媒介，无论是物质的还是精神的，对东南亚的影响。这项工程将从1987年开始进行四年。1987/88年收集的资料不仅来自东南亚国家，也来自某些来源国，包括伊斯兰教的埃及、印度教的印度、佛教的斯里兰卡。在1988/89财政年度，每个研究人员都试图根据他以前的研究编写一份中期报告。研究结果的一部分将以油印形式发表，并将进一步发表在《Tonan Ajia Kenkyu》杂志上。

The main object of this research project is to investigate the influences of the civilization which were brought in from outer world to Southeast Asia through various media, material or spiritual. The project is to be carried on for four years from 1987. In 1987/88 materials were collected not only from Southeast Asian countries but also from certain source countries including Islamic Egypt, Hindu India, Buddhistic Srilanka. In the fiscal year of 1988/89 each researcher tried to produce an interim report based on his preceding research. A part of the results is to be published in a mimeographed from and further to be contributed to the journal of Tonan Ajia Kenkyu.
