Substitution of hearing through letter input/outputFuture plan of the effective organization of the research activities in this field in Japan was discussed, based on detailed analysis of pregent status on each of those topics.A report on the prospect of research on sensory aids for language information transmission inside and outside Japan will be published along with a comprehensive database of references.
