本年度は、仙台藩伊達家・佐賀藩鍋島家・熊本藩細川家、及び幕府関係の資料を調査し、現在その成果をデ-タベ-ス化しつつある。以下各資料ごとに報告したい。仙台藩伊達家文書にみる江戸時代の能楽について仙台藩能楽資料は、宮城県図書館伊達文庫所蔵のものが中心である。もと武士の家柄であったものが、主命により能役者に弟子入りし、やがて伊達家の能大夫となっていく過程などが見え、当時の諸藩の能役者のあり方を示す好例であろう。ただし断片的資料が多いため、現在も調査を続行中である。佐賀藩鍋島家文書に見る江戸時代の能楽について佐賀藩能楽資料は、佐賀県立図書館鍋島家文庫のものを主に調査したが、美麗田楽に関する学会未知の一座の資料を閲覧することが出来たのが、大きな収穫であった。今回発見したのは梅崎姓を名乗る複数の役者から成る一座で、鍋島家の扶持を受け、慶事の度に囃子を演奏し上覧に備えていたもの。きわめて注目すべき資料で、より詳細な資料入手のためさらに継続調査が必要である。熊本藩細川家に見る江戸時代の能楽について熊本藩には、藩の能役者のほか、本・新両座が神事能を勤め、藩主主催の能にも出演していた。それらについては、別記研究発表とその続稿に詳述している。資料は熊本大学永青文庫所蔵文書が主体である。幕府資料に見る江戸時代の能楽について幕府の能役者について、歴代の武鑑の記事をデ-タベ-ス化し、ほぼ終了した。
