Chomsky(1981,1986)によって展開されているGB理論では、UGは原理とパラミタ-から成る体系であると考えられている。言語習得の過程をパラミタ-の値を決定しいく過程として捉えることにより、人間に習得可能て言語の多様性を説明することができると主張されている。本研究では句構造の習得過程に焦点をあて考察を行なった。人間の言語の句構造の普遍的な特性を捉える原理として、X-bar理論が提案されている。このX-bar理論には、各言語にみられる語順の多様性を捉えるために、主要部の位置に関して、主要部先端(head-intial)なのか主要部末端(Head-final)なのかというパラミタ-の値がうめ込まれていると仮定されている。子どもは、発語資料の中の一次資料に基づき、この主要部の位置にかんするパラミタ-の値を決定するとその言語の句構造の習得がすすむと考えられている。本研究では、英語の句構造の習得に関して、これまでの研究で収集した発話資料の分析およびWell's dataと呼ばれる資料の分析を通して、パラミタ-値の決定がどの時期に行なわれるのか、また、パラミタ-値の決定に伴ってすぐに、各主要範ちゅうの内部構造が習得されているといえるのかについて検討を行なった。パラミタ-値の決定、英語については主要部先端という値は、非常に早に段階で決定されることがわかったが、各主要句範ちゅうの内部構造の習得については、次のような特徴が見られた。VPとPPに関しては、補部の習得が早に段階でみられ、NPとAPに関しては、指定部の習得の方が早く、補部の習得の方が遅いことがわかった。句構造の習得に関する研究においては早に主要部の位置に関するパラミタ-値の決定ということでは不十分であり、主要部の持つ意味特性たとえば、どのような〓構造をもつのかという特性の習得のされかたについても、今後研究する必要があることが明らかとなった。

Chomsky(1981, 1986) developed the theory of GB and UG. The process of speech acquisition is determined by the value of speech. The process of speech acquisition may be explained by the diversity of speech. This study focuses on the acquisition of sentence structure. The universal characteristics of sentence structure in human speech are discussed in detail in the principles and X-bar theory. In this X-bar theory, the speech sequence and diversity of each speech are captured, the position of the main part is related, the head-inner part is related to the Head-final part, and the middle part is related to the head-inner part. The primary data in the speech data is the base data, the position of the main part of the speech data is determined by the acquisition of the sentence structure of the speech data. This study focuses on the acquisition of English sentence structure, the analysis of speech data, the analysis of Well's data and the analysis of call data, the determination of value, the determination of time, the acquisition of internal structure of each major category.パラミタ-値の决定、英语については主要部先端という値は、非常に早に段阶で决定されることがわかったが、各主要句范ちゅうの内部构造の习得については、次のような特徴が见られた。VP, PP, NP, AP, AP, The acquisition of sentence structure is related to the study of the position of the main part, the determination of the value, the maintenance of the main part, the acquisition of the characteristic, and the necessity of future research.
