今期科学研究補助金の交付を申請したときの研究目標は、Poincar'e、Picardによって提起されている2次元複素空間からそれ自身の中への解析写像を詳細に研究することであった。所でこのような解析写像は代数的な除外曲線をもつことがあり、それを持つ場合と持たない場合とで大分状況が変わる。それで先づ代数的な除外曲線を持つ場合、その曲線はどのようなものになるのかを調べることとした。一般に解析写像の除外曲線は、以前の我々の研究によって、次元によって定まるある個数以上の既約成分を持たないことがわかっているが、もっと詳細な結果が必要なのである。所でPoincare,Picardの解析写像はある種の乗法公式を持つのであるが、その乗法公式を定義する多項式写像によって、絶対不変な代数学曲線が定まる。しかもそのような曲線の内、原点を通過しないものがその解析写像の除外曲線になることがわかる。そこで問題は、多項式写像による絶対不変な代数曲線による絶対不変な代数曲線が考えられる。我々の最初の成果は、その絶対不変な代数曲線の特別なもののみが、Poincare-Picard写像の除外値曲線であると言う事の確認である。それによって我々の目標は、有理写像の絶対不変な代数曲線を決定することになる。幸い我々はこのような代数曲線を完全に具体的に決定することが出来た。これらの研究においても、我々の研究グループで以前から研究して来た、特殊な型の有理函数を具体的に決定する問題が本質的に重要な役割を果している。これらの結果は1988年度秋期の数学会で発表されており、今年中に論文として公表出来る見込みである。
