项目摘要

言語圏を研究対象となる諸比較教育論(理論を含む抱括的な命言体系群)の母体として設定したことは、換言すれば、テクスト(理論及び論群)の分析をそれぞれのコンテクストのレヴェルにおいて行うということに他ならない。アジア系言語圏をのぞくと、テクストの水準では、多様な理論的潮流が見出された。ネオポジティヴィズケ・ネオマルキシズム・ネオファンクショナリズム・従属理論・エスノメソドロジー・交換理論・世界システム解析・ポストモダニズム等の試みは、いずれも、比較教育自体の学的自律性と独立性の欠如という学問的危機を克服する試みとして、各言語圏に登場したものである。古びた認識論的枠組を脱皮し新しい分析枠組を備えたと主張するこれらの「方法」としての特質は何で、またどのような理由からそれぞれの特質が生み出されてくるか、及ぶ限り把握しようとした。中国語圏と韓国語圏では、実質的作業は当該地域における学会の成立とそこでの研究動向を記述することが行われているので、その概要を把握し、それぞれに潜在し、かつ、インターテクステュアリティーの水準でさらに比較分析の対象として将来特定されると見込まれる特徴あるいは傾向を明確にするよう努めた。パラダイム転換という場合、西欧的価値観の強制に対する異議申立てという側面もあるので、代るべきパラダイムの多様性を前提にしながらそれぞれの比較可能性ないし共存可能性に留意した。色彩のシンポリズムに関する討議とその成果の公表(於第八回世界比較教育学会)、及びユリゲン・シュリーヴァー教授を迎えた連続討論は、この活動の一つの帰結である。
